ABOUT MELISSA STEVENS

Melissa Stevens is internationally recognized as the expert in Professional Image Development. She is an image consultant, trainer, leadership coach who brings together her experience in education, fashion coordination, business management and model and talent development to create the Patricia Stevens Image Institute. While she continues her role as CEO of Patricia Stevens Famous Models, Inc., Melissa directs her time and energy as a speaker, management consultant and personal coach.

Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in the area of Textile and Apparel Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is an adjunct faculty member for The Metropolitan Community Colleges, Baker University, Iowa State University, Kansas State University, Southwest Missouri State University and the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

She utilizes her research in body language, movement, non-verbal and verbal communications, textiles, consumer behavior to coach corporate, municipal and county government groups and private clients including NCAA, The Ford Motor Company, Black Health Care Coalition, Inc., Aquilla Energy, Missouri Public Service, The State of Missouri - City Clerk Association, Western Division.

The Honorable Mayor of Kansas City, Emanuel Cleaver III, for reclaiming an abandoned warehouse in downtown Kansas City as her home, proclaimed her an Urban Pioneer. She continues to rehabilitate the 6-story warehouse that now houses her businesses.

Melissa Stevens is frequently quoted and appears in the national media as the consummate expert in business etiquette, professional image presentation and fashion.
